So FinCon12 kicked off recently and it sounds like it’s going well so far. The Plutus Awards were held last night as part of the conference. Unfortunately I didn’t win either category that I was a finalist for, but that was fully expected. The blogs that did win those categories were well deserving. Congrats to all the winners.
Really, awards and special recognition is not what I’m after with this blog. If that were the case I would be writing all content myself and focusing less on marketing. No, in all honesty, I want to make some money with this blog while passing on some solid financial advice.
Maybe once my blog is better established I’ll yearn that kind of recognition, but for now I am happy with the progress I have made.
