Top Canadian Personal Finance Blogs Comments135 Comments

Each week I’ve been trying to do a link roundup featuring some of my favorite posts from the week.

This week I’m switching it up a bit and feature the top Canadian personal finance blogs.

Sorry to my blogging friends from the US and elsewhere. I will feature your blogs soon.

Show some love for these greats Canadian bloggers…check out their blogs, comment on some posts, subscribe to their rss feeds and share their posts on social media sites.

I already follow some of these blogs, but some are new to me as I compile this list. If I miss any good Canadian personal finance blogs, let me know and I’ll add it to the list. Considering that I didn’t know some of these were Canadian, I’m sure I missed someone.

To make it a bit more interesting I’ve included a poll with this list. You can vote for up to 5 of your favorite blogs. I hope plenty of you vote for me :) Later this year I will do a special feature of the blogs who get the most votes. So I encourage fellow Canadian bloggers to get their friends to vote for them too.

Due to the size of this list I also decided to exclude the blogs that only deal with investments.
I’ll try to do a Canadian investment blog list at some point when I am personally more involved in investing.

Bonus: Tweet or link to this post and I’ll sneak in an extra vote for your blog.

Update:: This poll unofficially ended on June 30th, 2012. Here are the winners.
Feel free to keep voting though.

In the comments below you can list your favorite Canadian personal finance blogs. Or if you don’t really have any particular favorites, you can share your favorite Canadian experience.

If you enjoyed this post, please consider subscribing to the RSS feed or you are welcome to leave a comment below.

It is quite motivating to see all these fellow Canadian finance bloggers. Their stories are inspiring and a lot can be learned from each other.

    Great list Jeremy.
Glad to see there are more Canadian bloggers. Certainly when I started, there were not as many, and many have come and gone.

It does seem like the finance blogging niche has exploded in the last year. I don’t know what it was like before, but from what I’ve heard it was significantly smaller.

No problem Leanne. I’m happy to support fellow Canadian bloggers of any level. Since I haven’t had time to really thoroughly check out all of these blogs, it was worth giving the public a decision on who really is the best….or at least who has the most loyal followers.

Excellent site with good stock analysis.

    Good List.
Since mortgage (residential) is a sub-section of personal finance – Do you have any plan to run a similar article on mortgage blogs?

    1. Jeremy

I’m not sure if I’d be able to find enough mortgage specific blogs for such a post. If you think there would be enough, feel free to send me a list to start on.

Wow, thanks for including my little blog! It’s so fantastic to see how many Canadian PF blogs are out there these days. There are some on the list I don’t recognize, which I will soon remedy!

Sorry to see it took you nearly 3 months to find the mention 😉
Better late than never. The poll just happens to unofficially end at the end of the month.

Hey Jeremy ! You have brought all Canadian finance blogs all together. I appreciate for your efforts. This list will help to finance students, investors and businessmen to explore related topics.

You’re welcome. I had to think a bit about including newer bloggers, but I may end up leaving the poll open indefinitely and who knows what some of these blogs may develop into. Just look at Mr. CBB, while he’s relatively new, he’s killing it in the polls. Besides, I have a soft spot for the pf blogs focusing on the environment. Best of luck with the new blog.
