Is it the end of the week already?? This week has really flown by. Between work and my personal life, shit has been busy. Speaking of my job, here’s a totally irrelevant shout-out for anyone looking to sell annuities. Yeah ok that didn’t fit in so well, but hey I gotta do what I gotta do to help my marketing
I did manage to free up some time to get more active on twitter. So if anyone wants to help each other out on there, drop me a line. If I’ve been helping you on there, hopefully you can return the favor. With any luck I’ll be able to get back into blog commenting soon.
I’m likely going to start the social sharing acknowledgements back up soon. I don’t know if it affected the amount of tweets, but I like giving bloggers an extra thanks. Plus it helps me keep track of who to keep sending the love to.
On Monday I hope to finally post about my new phone, but no promises. I might get busy and end up posting more guest posts. I do still have lots of those in the queue that I’m trying to catch up on.
Also don’t forget to enter my latest giveaway for your chance to win some cool prizes. I kinda regret not just taking that prize for myself.

Is is just Vancouver or did we skip autumn this year? One day it was shorts weather and then it suddenly got damn cold. I’m freezing my ass off walking to and from the skytrain anyway. It might be time to bust out the winter jacket. How’s things where you are?

We got part of your cold front yesterday. It’s about 40 degrees here and will get to a high of 50 over the weekend. Not freezing yet, but we’re certainly getting close.
On your job front: why would somebody sell their annuity and not simply cash it out to get the lump sum? It is an interesting concept and not sure how that works exactly.

To be honest I’m not quite sure how that all works yet either. I’m still learning about the industry. Perhaps some annuities do not have cash-out clauses with the issuer.
Boy, it sounds like you’re busy. I can relate…the days just seem to run into each other later. We must’ve skipped autumn as well. It was 80 on Tuesday and yesterday it was 35 & windy…with it to be that way for the foreseeable future. I would like to know where fall went. Have a great weekend Jeremy!

Yeah I normally enjoy the fall and the slow progression to colder weather. Weird how that just didn’t happen this year. And yeah the days do just run into each other. It seems like I never have time to get ahead on anything.
maybe you should move to the states — it got cold like winter was ready to get going, but then it’s warm again today. ?? Actually that would be a terrible reason to move to the states.

I actually don’t mind the weather here, but still like to complain like everyone else. The area of the US I would consider moving to is Washington state but being so close they get the same weather.
You’re funny with the random shout out! Don’t worry about the commenting MIA, dude. We know the new job is probably a tough transition, but like you’ve proven here, you’ll adapt! Have a great weekend, dude.

Yeah it was a bit of an inappropriate shout out lol, but I can’t pass up the chance to get an easy like for my employer.
The new job wasn’t too bad a transition, but at the same time I don’t want to burn myself out by trying to go all out while getting used to working full time again.
Yesterday it hit around 76 in the GTA and the shorts came out and the t-shirt off. I was sweating my **** off raking the leaves. One thing about Canada that differs from the UK is the weather. One minute it’s sunny the next raining and blink an eye and it’s snowing. Cheers mate.. Looking forward to hearing about that phone. Mr.CBB

What are you doing using Fahrenheit for temperate Mr CBB? I thought they use Celsius is the UK. And glad to hear that it isn’t just Vancouver where the weather shifts so drastically. It makes it tough to figure out what to where when going out.
90′s this week. *Envious look* I’m curious how you’re helping your employer market, are you guest posting for them?
Veronica @ Pelican on Money recently posted..LinkLuv Friday, Poetic Edition
No I know most bloggers won’t accept free guest posts linking to commercial websites. It’s mostly more traditional commercial website marketing strategies, but I probably shouldn’t get into the details here.
Thanks for the mention! And very odd monkey photo, though it caught my attention so I guess it worked!

lol the monkey photo is awesome. Now that I have a decent camera on my phone I should get taking more of my own photos though.
Thanks for the mention! Autumn definitely did not come for us either, as it has been cold and snowy all week!
Have a good weekend.

Ouch..at least we don’t have any snow here. I’d hate to be dealing with that already. I only remember one Halloween in BC where we had some snow.
Had to turn the heat on last night for the first time since last spring. Bummer, but it got down to 19, so I don’t like to see my breath in the house. Nice monkey pic. Have a great weekend
I guess if you can see your breath, you’re allowed to turn on the heat. I can’t say I’ve had to turn on my heat yet, but my heater seems to randomly turn itself on even with the thermostat turned off.
LoL, I love the shout out. This week did fly by. I seriously don’t know how it’s already Friday again. Oh well, guess that means I’ll have to S T R E T C H out the weekend

Thank you for the inclusion, Jeremy! Just received a pingback notification now. Wonder why it took so long? *scratches head*

Maybe I include too many for it to automatically ping on the initial publish. It must’ve notified you when to did a small update to it yesterday.
Here in San Diego it definitely felt like we skipped Autumn. Straight hot to cold. Even though most years the change isn’t too drastic here, it was even less than normal. Thanks for the mention!

Does San Diego even get a winter?? Whenever I’ve been down in California it was warm no matter what month it was.
