Good Bye Dumb Phone, Hello Samsung S3

Dumb Phone Smartphone

If you’ve been following my blog, you may recall how a while back I didn’t want a smartphone. Eventually I started to cave and was tempted to join the smartphone masses. Then as I was finally about to upgrade, I got lucky and my boss bought me a new Samsung Galaxy S3.

Now I’ve had my new smartphone for about 2 weeks and I’m loving it. So as promised, here is my review as someone who had previously been a smartphone virgin.

Initial Thoughts Of The Samsung Galaxy S3

As a bit of background, my last phone was a Sony Ericson. It’s crappy enough that I have no idea what the model name is. Because I wasn’t using my phone back when I bought that, I just went with the cheapest the most basic phone I could find. Continue reading

Tempted To Join The Smart Phone Masses

I will keep using my outdated cell phone that I honestly get a little embarrassed about taking out in public. In fact, it might have really hurt my chances on a date a few weeks ago when she revealed that she’s a bit of a phone snob. Well she also saw my bulky first gen 60gb iPod and didn’t even know what it was. So yeah, I felt pretty outdated and old.

Anyways, back to the smartphone, here are the reasons I decided to remain as one of the few bloggers without a decent cell phone. Continue reading
