Inexperienced and experienced traders alike. The platform recognizes that most potential users will already have a full-time job, and aims to help them generate additional revenue from the stock market by turning them into successful traders.

Although the professional trader will likely already be familiar with all of the information offered in the site’s free resources, the paid services may still be worth looking into. What is Real Life Trading?

Real Life Trading is an educational resource and online community of traders created by Jerremy Alexander Newsome in 2014. The website takes an all-inclusive approach to education, offering resources that traders of any level can benefit from (even the complete beginner!).

As of the time of this review, Real Life Trading currently offers six free online courses. To join, interested students need only provide their names and email addresses. The platform also offers premium services, including courses, masterclasses, and mentoring.

Features

Although one can certainly spend thousands of dollars to get everything possible from this trading community, that’s not necessary. You can learn various aspects of trading via these online courses without paying a dime. They also offer free ebooks that you can learn from.

However, if you want to get access to the incredible community, detailed trading plans, and courses on more niche topics—such as credit spreads—then you’re going to have to pay for the service.

In addition to Real Life Trading’s educational services, the company is also active on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), has a YouTube channel with years of content, and has an exclusive Slack channel dubbed the “All Access Trading Rooms.”

Pricing & Plans

This platform’s services cover a wide variety of trading strategies in—and outside of—the stock market. Here’s a quick overview of the free and premium services offered.

Free

Currently, RLT offers six free classes to help you improve your financial future by learning new trading strategies. The free classes are a popular choice when it comes to first-timers, as they can learn about the numerous factors that go into trading without risking losing real money.

  • Beginner Trading Course
  • Intermediate Trading Course
  • Advanced Trading Course
  • Day Trading Course
  • Kids Course
  • Futures Trading Course

With these courses, free users will also get access to a selection of free ebooks.

Paid

In addition to the free resources offered, paid members will have access to a number of additional courses. They’ll even get access to info, insights, and mentorship from 5 professional full-time traders with the 90 Days to Trade Masterclass!

Here are the current premium services offered:

  • Day Trading Course
  • Trading for Young Adults Course
  • Intro to Options
  • Backtrading Course
  • Hedging with Options Course
  • Crypto Currencies Curse
  • Algo Trading Course
  • Day Trading Weekly Options Course
  • 90 Days To Trade MasterClass
  • Day Trading Snapback Masterclass
  • Credit Spreads Masterclass

Limitations

If you’re just starting out in your trading career, Real Life Trading’s education resources are an excellent place to start. However, your access to the community of other day traders will be somewhat limited as a free user.

If you want the option of interacting with, talking to, and learning from a profitable trader—who could be either another member or a RLT mentor—then you’ll need to pay. Options include paying for access to their private Slack with a “All Access Trading Rooms” membership or paying for mentoring.

This platform is also not the best resource for learning how to invest for the long term, as it primarily focuses on day and swing trading.

Is Real Life Trading Right for You?

If you’re interested in day trading or swing trading then Real Life Trading offers an easy way to jump-start your trading education. As we’ve discovered in this Real Life Trading review, the platform offers a plethora of resources for free, truly making it possible for anyone to start learning.

If you’ve made it through all six of the free courses and still want to learn more, there are always premium services available to give you that extra trading edge.
