Motley Fool Overview

Established by the Gardner brothers David and Tom in 1993, Motley Fool is a digital investment platform that provides investment advice through various channels such as newsletters and webinars.

Motley Fool is recommended for more passive investors that have experience, investors looking to hedge their portfolio, fund investors and those who are looking for a like-minded investment community.

Motley Fool offers two separate programs that take different approaches to the stock market.

Motley Fool Stock Advisor Program

The Stock advisor program provides you with long-term stock options that take a more reliable approach with plenty of winners over the years. Stock Advisor has been established for over 20 years, so you know it has got some good experience under its belt.

Motley Fool Rule Breakers Program

Taking the opposite approach, the Motley Fool Rule Breakers program breaks all the rules. The Rule Breakers Program aims to identify the “leaders of tomorrow”, the companies that may not seem like much now, but are poised for exponential growth – and exponential returns.

Where to Get the MotleyFool App?

Motley Fool doesn’t have a finance app for the Stock Advisor and Rule Breakers programs as of now, but the future is still unwritten. However, we do have some good news – Motley Fool has a game app!

Enter the Motley Fool Investment Island app, a fun board game that is “driven by the real-life ups and downs of the stock market”. You can battle friends, collect the best stocks to build your portfolio that is triggered by real wins and losses, and climb the leaderboard to become a legend on Investor Island.

Final Thoughts

Although there isn’t a Motley Fool finance app available for mobile devices now, they may very well introduce it in the future. You can still gain access to the coveted investment programs the platform provides via their website and even get a discount for your first year. You can learn more about Motley Fool  here.
